Mission Statement: Guideposts helps people from all walks of life achieve their maximum personal and spiritual potential. Guideposts is committed to communicating positive, faith-filled principles for people everywhere to use in successful daily living.

Description:
Do you have an hour or two a week to spare?
Become a Prayer Volunteer! Pray on the web, on our Prayer Line or write Personal Prayer Responses, all from the comfort of your own home or office. OurPrayer Ministry receives thousands of prayer requests each week. Because we pray for each request individually by name and need, we need your help.

We have three exciting OurPrayer Volunteer options:

Pray for Prayer Requests on the Web.
Web volunteers are given access to a secured online area to pray. Pray online or print out a list for later reflection. This option offers the most flexibility whenever and wherever you have time.

Pray from your Home on our Toll-free Prayer Line.
Prayer Line volunteers are trained to listen to the concerns of callers and pray with them by name and need. Our toll-free Prayer Line calls are forwarded to the volunteer's home at a scheduled time for a minimum of one to two hours each week.

Write Personal Prayer Responses on the Web.
Volunteers are trained to write Personal Prayer Responses to encourage and comfort those struggling with distressing circumstances. Prayers are emailed to the person requesting prayer through OurPrayer system without disclosure of volunteer identity or email.
