Head Start of Northern Fairfield County is committed to the belief that with parents as partners, we can fulfill our mission to empower low-income children and families, including those with disabilities. Description:
Head Start is a comprehensive child and family development program that works to assure that low-income children ages 3 through 4 have the necessary pre-school education and social skills to be fully ready to enter into the regular school curriculum at age 5.
History:
Connecticut Resources is a community development corporation, a locally based non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing community advancement through a combination of human service programs and economic development activities. Connecticut Resources is the new sponsor of the Northern Fairfield County Head Start program.
