The Boys and Girl's Club of Stamford's mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, citizens.
Description:
The Club provides young people with a safe place to learn and grow, build ongoing relationships with caring professionals, engage in life enhancing programs and character building experiences; solidify hope and opportunity as part of their lives. As a youth development organization, the Club aims to help young people improve their lives by building self-esteem and developing values and skills during critical period of growth through our five core areas: Character and leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health and Like Skills, The Arts, and Sports, Fitness, and Recreation.
History:
The Club has provided after-school activities and youth development to the youth of Stamford, CT since 1927.
