History:
The COS COB FIRE POLICE PATROL, INC. was established in 1927 and incorporated in 1931. There were 7 organization men who found that there was a need for such an organization, as the Patrol. Fire Police Patrols were established based on the model of the New York City Fire Patrol, in New York City. The operations of the Patrol have not really changed since the establishment of the unit. The only change the Patrol has gone through is that members do not have arresting powers.
