Volunteers Needed for Mother's Day Dinner Clean-up!
Last updated on April 27, 2008

Stamford Young Artists Philharmonic holds its major fundraiser of the year on Mother's Day (May 11) prior to its final concert of the season. It is a catered dinner held in the upstairs lobby of the Palace Theater. Parent volunteers from Stamford Young Artists will be setting up the dinner all afternoon; the dinner will be held from 5 - 7pm, when the concert begins. Because parents are anxious to hear their children perform in the concert, we are seeking a volunteer crew of 4 - 6 people to clean up after the dinner, return chairs and tables to their original storage locations in the Palace Theater and to collect table linens and vacuum, etc. Following the concert, parent volunteers will take care of any goods which are left on the premises.

The volunteers should be capable of moving chairs and tables, fairly heavy cases of beverages, etc., with no physical impairment. There is no training requirement. As wine will be served at the dinner, we would need all volunteers post-concert to be adults over 21.
