Rewarding work with at-risk kids

I am a Gabriel's Angels volunteer with my dog, Siena. We visit kids at the Boys & Girls Club of Tucson where Siena works with the kids nurturing their ability to love and trust. Our mission is to gree them from the cycle of violence.
Siena and I, with our Helping Hands volunteer, MJ, meet with the kids every other week for one hour. We have a great activities program listing from Gabriel's Angels so we all have a great time together. It is great to see the kids react so positively to responsibility and success. Last week they taught Siena to "shake hands" and their faces lit up with joy when they were successful.
