Our mission is to make employers aware of the value of mature workers; to ensure that mature job seekers are prepared for and secure meaningful employment; and to provide pools of well-qualified mature job seekers who meet the staffing needs of employers.

Description:
The Mature Worker Connection is a program of the Pima Council On Aging offering job referral services for all job seekers in Pima County age 50 and older. Job seekers will be referred to a variety of paid positions from entry level to top administrative positions. We will serve all qualified job seekers, but place special emphasis on serving women, ethnic minorities, lower income job seekers and conducting outreach in retirement communities, the core city, faith communities and other areas where mature workers reside. The program will provide a friendly atmosphere, personal support, advocacy, individual case management and job seeking skills training for job seekers.
