The House of Neighborly Service transforms youths' outlook on life to overcome poverty and crime to strive for higher aspirations and become moral individuals.
Our youth programs develop successful adults through tutoring, cultural pride, life education, mentoring, recreation, sports and introducing resources and opportunities to achieve their dreams.
Our adult programs provide adults the opportunity to become self-supporting citizens and help to reduce hunger.
Our senior citizen programs reduce hunger and improve the quality of life socially, physically and emotionally.

Volunteering at House of Neighborly Service is a great way for me to give back to the community and help kids who are underpriveledged by setting a good example for them.

House of Neighborly Service is basically a Boys and Girls Club in South Tucson that provides a safe place for kids to go afterschool. At the House the kids can get help with their homework, have a playmate for the afternoon, have someone to read books to them, etc. I get to interact with children who aren't as fortune as I was as a kid growing up. I hope I make a difference in just one childs life by giving them motivation to go to college, stay away from drugs, or just being there for them to talk to about problems they might have. These kids are our future and we need to make sure they realize how important they are to the world and what a different they can make as well. posted by kalandis on November 18, 2003
