Description:
Child-Parent Centers, Inc. operates Head Start and Early Head Start programs in south eastern Arizona. The agency will serve approximately 2,600 children and families in the 2007-2008 year in Pima, Cochise, Greenlee, Graham, and Santa Cruz Counties. The agency's scope of services includes comprehensive services to low income families with children from birth to kindergarten. The original intent of Head Start to provide children with what they need to be ready to learn upon entering kindergarten has been broadened to encompass preschool, family health and nutrition, life skills & job readiness, as well as the needs of pregnant women, infants and toddlers.
