Tucson Botanical Gardens promotes responsible and appropriate use of plants and water in a desert environment through education and demonstration and provides a place of beauty and tranquility for Tucson residents and visitors.

Description:
Tucson Botanical Gardens belongs to all the people in the City of Tucson and Pima County. Over the last two decades, we have developed a wide range of educational programs for adults,children, seniors and people with disability. We are committed to sharing our knowledge broadly, both on-site and out in the community.

Educational offerings - TBG serves approximately 10,000 learners at the Gardens including: teacher workshops; children's after school garden programs; teaching kits; outreach programs; summer classes for children.

Horticultural Therapy Program - The only Horticultural Therapy Program of its kind in Souther Arizona, our program utilizes gardening and natural materials to improvde the physical and mental health of individuals with disabilities.

Docent Led Tours - Volunteers lead visitors and children through daily garden tours.

Garden Gift Shop - Volunteers work in the lovely gift shop operated by the Gardens.
