The Youth Volunteer Corps' goals are to ensure positive and healthy development of youth and increase the number of high-risk youth involved in positive activities. Young people are engaged in challenging, rewarding and educational projects that promote greater understanding and appreciation for the diversity of the community, serve the unmet needs of the community and promote a lifetime ethic of service.

I LOVE HUMMINGBIRDS

I had so much fun at this project! I had to get up REALLY early and we had a long car ride but it was totally worth it! My favorite part was being able to catch the hummingbirds on my own. I learned a lot about these awesome birds.

I've only been able to go to one paper crane day so far but it was awesome. I learned prett quick and now I'm addicted...

That's why I had so much fun with this project. It's a very hands on experience. My favorite part though was painting the "Sign In Here Please" sign...fingerpainting is AWESOME!!
