To serve as a clearinghouse that promotes corporate contributions of new/gently used goods, which are made available to member non-profit and human service organizations and to promote education and training of the low-income communities.
Description:
Pima Computer Recycling (formerly known as Desert Waste Not Warehouse) is a non-profit program that allows businesses to play an important role in non-profit and other human service agencies in Tucson and Pima County through the donations of usable goods that are passed through from non-profit agencies and other organizations to low-income families and youth within Pima County area. Benefits include: Charitable tax deduction, pick-up to businesses at a very nominal charge, all materials are responsibly recycled,privacy assured, computers are completely refurbished by Microsoft Approved Refurbished standards, tailored computer training programs to dislocated workers who qualify.
