To assist survivors of torture and related trauma to develop a self-sufficient capability in their new homeland.

Description:
CPRV provides holistic care for survivors of torture, including refugees and others impacted by torture and violence. The CPRV provides and facilitates medical treatment, psychotherapy, social services, physiotherapy, alternative forms of healing, and client advocacy and education. In addition CPRV has developed a unique "Owl and Panther: Writing from the Darkness Project." This is a special creative writing, counseling program for at risk children affected by torture, traumatic dislocation, refugee status, or other family factors.
