While The Giving Tree is very good at running multiple programs, we could really use your help to create a full and professional web site. We think that our outreach programs and the faces and stories of those we help will inspire your creativity in developing a bright and compelling web site for our visitors to understand who we are. We want those visitors to be motivated to get involved with The Giving Tree and our families.

Once you've created the quintessential site, we'd like for you to maintain it every now and again with updates on events, programs, and supporting links. If you can advise us on other essential computer tools (auto responders, email lists and newsletters), so much the better.

We'll be happy to give you the full tour of Giving Tree activities so you will understand why we get so excited about what we do. We want you to feel that excitement too. We expect that you have some web development background and have just the right combination of being a self-starter and willingness to incorporate what we feel is important.

This is a very fun thing to do!!!!!!!
I am 9 years old. My family and I volunteer with the Giving Tree Feeding Program and we think it is very fun! We have met some very nice volunteers, and best of all, we have met some very nice homeless people, too! I love going there on Thursdays and Sundays!

I have gained a greater understanding of the needy.
Volunteering has made me gain a deeper appreciation for food, clothing, my bed, and everything else that I own. I would suggest everyone to volunteer their time to help the people in need. This program is well organized!

It was very rewarding
I volunteered with my sorority, Chi Omega. I gained the realization of what life is really like for some people. I also learned about different organizations within the Tucson community that work to help many people get back into a good state of life.
