Ever wanted to learn more about where your food comes from, or what that organic label actually means? Want to learn an easy way to drastically reduce your carbon footprint? Then come get your hands dirty at the Community Foodbank's Heritage Farm. We'll steep ourselves for a week in the nitty gritty of farm life-planting, harvesting, even bowling with the pigs! Youth Volunteers ages 11-18, please, P.S. We will be meeting at the Volunteer Center @8:30 a.m. , and carpooling over to the Marana Food Bank, or you can just meet us at The Marana Food Bank. I LOVE HUMMINGBIRDS

I had so much fun at this project! I had to get up REALLY early and we had a long car ride but it was totally worth it! My favorite part was being able to catch the hummingbirds on my own. I learned a lot about these awesome birds.

That's why I had so much fun with this project. It's a very hands on experience. My favorite part though was painting the "Sign In Here Please" sign...fingerpainting is AWESOME!!
