The Giving Tree conducts multiple programs geared toward providing relief in the form of food, clothing, case management, winter shelter, job preparedness, and job search for the homeless, near homeless, poverty level families, children, elderly and disabled of Tucson. We are fortunate to have an abundance of volunteers and more seeking to volunteer with our organization. We are seeking an individual to coordinate all activities associated with volunteerism.

We are seeking an organized individual, able to work with minimum direction and good communication skills. The individual will respond to volunteer inquiries in a timely manner, interview, ensure that all volunteers are screened, references checked and all appropriate paperwork is completed and in volunteer file.

The Giving Tree is located inside the Bancroft Realty Building at 4888 E. Broadway Blvd between Swan and Rosemont across from TGIFriday’s. Bancroft is open 9 til 5, Monday through Saturday and 11 til 3 on Sunday. Come in the Bancroft office door. This is a very fun thing to do!!!!!!!

I am 9 years old. My family and I volunteer with the Giving Tree Feeding Program and we think it is very fun! We have met some very nice volunteers, and best of all, we have met some very nice homeless people, too! I love going there on Thursdays and Sundays! posted by Robyn123 on July 1, 2008

It was very rewarding
