The Giving Tree is located inside the Bancroft Realty Building at 4888 E. Broadway Blvd between Swan and Rosemont across from TGIFriday’s. Bancroft is open 9 til 5, Monday through Saturday and 11 til 3 on Sunday. Come in the Bancroft office door. Their smiling receptionist will let us know you're there.   Nearest Bus Stop: On eastside Broadway/Niven, 1 minute walk

Overall Experience   
This is a very fun thing to do!!!!!!!

I am 9 years old. My family and I volunteer with the Giving Tree Feeding Program and we think it is very fun! We have met some very nice volunteers, and best of all, we have met some very nice homeless people, too! I love going there on Thursdays and Sundays! posted by Robyn123 on July 1, 2008

I have gained a greater understanding of the needy.

Volunteering has made me gain a deeper appreciation for food, clothing, my bed, and everything else that I own. I would suggest everyone to volunteer their time to help the people in need. This program is well organized! posted on June 23, 2008

It was very rewarding
