Volunteers are an important member of our Acclaim Hospice Team. They provide encouragement and companionship to our patients and families. Some services performed by volunteers at Acclaim Hospice include:
friendly visiting, reading to a patient, running errands for the caregiver, providing caregiver relief for short periods of time, performing clerical duties in the Acclaim Hospice office, special projects for holidays and special occasions. In addition, massage therapists and beauticians are also in demand.
Background checks and volunteer training are provided free of charge. In addition, if our volunteers have patient contact, the volunteer will be required to have a TB screening which is provided by Acclaim This opportunity is sponsored by: Acclaim Hospice

Acclaim Hospice is located off of 675. Take the 725 exit to Centerville. Turn left onto 725 and then left again at the first street which is Washington Village Drive. We are located in the first building on the left. Go to the 3rd floor and exit to the right from the elevator. We are the second door on the left. |
