The Battering Intervention and Prevention Program is a program based on changing thoughts and behaviors. Many people who have difficulty with inappropriate and criminal behavior want to change but do not know how. This program helps abusive individuals to identify belief systems that form the core of abusive behaviors. This program teaches some tools that, if used, will help abusive individuals to avoid becoming abusive in the future.
