Wondering how you can find the time to make a difference in an animal’s life in addition to a hectic work schedule and time-consuming commitments? Become an Animal Ambassador! The Animal Ambassador program provides a fun and easy way to assist the SPCA of Texas with “behind the scene” duties. Designed to accommodate every schedule, this program allows volunteers and staff to work together to create a better environment for the animals. Being a part of the Animal Ambassadors team allows individuals to schedule their volunteering on any day of the week at the time that is right for them. A variety of shifts are available and examples of activities include anything from greeting and educating potential adopters, spot cleaning, adoption counseling and dog walking to washing and folding towels or providing the animals with extra love and care.
You must be 18 years old, if 12 - 17 years old you must volunteer with a parent or guardian. Please visit www.spca.org to submit a volunteer application and learn more! This opportunity is sponsored by: SPCA of Texas
