Hope's Door is seeking volunteers to assist with special events through out the year. Some events include (but are not limited to) Evening of Hope Gala, Plano Balloon Festival, Stein Mart Trade-in/Trade-up Days, etc.

Potential duties include assisting in the planning, preparation and coordination of an event; making phone calls to volunteers, donors or contacts about specific events; doing preliminary leg work for the event such as running errands, picking up donated items, or delivering supplies; setting up/tearing down before and after an event; taking pictures of the event; attending the event to man various stations (registration, coat-check, door greeters, etc.).

Individuals serving as a special event volunteer must have good communication skills, be self-motivated and be dependable.
