The Central Jersey Walk for PKD is being held at the Jackson Premium Outlets on Saturday, September 20, 2008. We are looking for volunteers to help us on the day of the event - as well as preparing for the Walk ahead of time. Why do we Walk?
PKD = Polycystic Kidney Disease, one of the most common genetic diseases that affects 600,000 Americans, including 17,500 New Jersey residents. There is currently no treatment or cure for this disease - most people end in renal failure and are forced to have dialysis and/or a kidney transplant. We Walk in hopes of a day that no one suffers the full effects of PKD.

There are no special requirements for our volunteers - just a desire to help us raise funds/ awareness to find a cure for PKD! We can find a job that will fit your availability, skill set and interests.
