Good Samaritans of Charlotte County, Inc. provides many services to people experiencing temporary emergencies. One very important service is our food pantry, for which we need distributors. In this opportunity, you will talk with clients to determine size of family, dietary needs and limitations, etc., and then pack emergency food for the client to last for a period usually three to four days. We are flexible about when volunteers support our pantry. We are open Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
You need to be comfortable on your feet for a couple of hours, be able to pack and lift grocery bags, and have a sense of food preparation needs, such as to make sure you are providing the client with ingredients for breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. This opportunity is sponsored by: Good Samaritans Of Charlotte County, Inc.
We need volunteers who are free at these times
