Good Samaritans of Charlotte County, Inc. receives a variety of requests from people in need. Our counselors are these people's first points of contact, either by phone or in person. As a counselor, you would answer phone calls, ask about needs, and use your discretion as to how to best help the people in need, both with our financial and food resources, and by referring people to other agencies, as appropriate. We are looking for people to help one time per month. We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
We have found our best counselors are good listeners, know (or are willing to quickly learn about other organizations in our community, and have a good understanding of human nature. This opportunity is sponsored by: Good Samaritans Of Charlotte County, Inc.
