The Fixit Program

We wish to help seniors and the disabled remain independent and safe in their homes for as long as possible.

Description:
The Fixit Program provides Seniors and the disabled with minor home maintenance to help them be safe and comfortable in their homes. The assistance our volunteers provide varies from minor plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, and various other requests to yard work such as mowing, raking, and shoveling.

History:
The Program started in 1991. It was set up to provide minor maintenance and repair to seniors (60 years or older) and disabled homeowners. It was initially available to homeowners in the Concord area only. Currently the Program services, Belknap, Merrimack, Hillsboro, Strafford and Rockingham counties.
