Mission Statement: The Dane County Parent Council is dedicated to enhancing the life for children and Families through advocacy, exemplary child development programming, meaningful family support, and strong effective leadership.
Description:
Volunteers share a vital role in the mission of Dane County Parent Council. There are a variety of opportunities for volunteers to make a difference through the services that help children and parents grow and learn together. We hope you will join us as you share your time and talents to benefit Dane County Parent Council and the community. Volunteer opportunities available are in the Preschool classrooms, Infant Toddler classrooms, gift wrapping in December, Family Fun Nights, Reading Stories, After School Programs, Childcare Evening Activities, Clerical, Translating/Interpreting, and the Food Service area.
History:
Dane County Parent Council is a non-profit, community based, umbrella agency delivering a variety of child development and family support programs including Head Start, Early Head Start, Wee Start, Even Start, Satellite Family Child Care programs and Family Services.
