Surrey Services for Seniors is a non-profit organization offering a variety of programs, activities and support services designed to enable older adults to continue living with dignity and self-reliance in their homes and engage them as vital, contributing members of the community. Surrey's programs and services include home care, transportation, programs and special events, downsizing and consignment, a fitness center, and much more! Surrey focuses on the total needs of the seniors -- physical, emotional, intellectual and social. As Surrey celebrates its Silver Anniversary, it does so having played a vital role in the lives of thousands of seniors over the past 25 years. The Surrey Spirit Soars!

History:
Surrey Services for Seniors was founded in a Wayne attic on August 18, 1981 by Jeanne LaRouche, who enlisted friends and neighbors to launch The Surrey Club. Her idea took form and has never stopped growing from that day. Today, Surrey is a volunteer-based, professionally staffed organization with two locations in Berwyn and Broomall, Pennsylvania. In 2005, Surrey received the prestigious PANO (Pennsylvania Association of Non-Profit Organizations) Seal of Excellence Award. This seal recognizes our exemplary management and accountability within the nonprofit sector. Surrey is one of 19 nonprofit recipients in Pennsylvania, and the first serving the senior community, to receive this distinction.
