Camphill Village Kimberton Hills is a vibrant farming and handcraft community that includes adults with developmental disabilities.
Description:
Adults with disabilities and volunteers work side by side on the land (garden, dairy, orchard, or estate,) or in a handcraft workshop (woodshop, pottery, weavery or bakery), all working together to create a sustainable community that helps preserve the environment.
History:
Camphill Village Kimberton Hills was founded in 1972 and is dedicated to enhancing human understanding and dignity through community building. It is located on 432 acres of farmland, gardens and woodlands in Kimberton, PA and is a local center for culture and sound ecological living.
