Our vision is to place Siberian Huskies and Siberian Husky Mixes in loving homes and to educate people about the characteristics of this wonderful, yet often misunderstood, breed. To accomplish these goals and our overall mission, our network of volunteers throughout PA, MD, NJ, DE, WV and NY are involved in raising funds, transporting and fostering dogs, developing and maintaining our web site, and representing the group at events. A lot of help is needed on making phone calls and taking phone calls for volunteer, event, and adoption opportunities. We're looking for happy people who are animal lovers in general who are looking to give a bit of a voice to those who unfortunately can't voice what they need.

Description:
Siberian Huskies are beautiful, affectionate, active, and intelligent. Yet, they are often misunderstood by people who are not prepared for the very traits they were attracted to in the first place. Many Huskies are commonly found in local animal shelters or just wandering around without an owner. This is where we come in to the picture to help try and place certain Siberian huskies and Siberian Husky mixes in their "furrever" home; as we like to call it :)

Tails of the Tundra Siberian Husky rescue was founded back in 2000 by a group of nice folks who were more than concerned with the welfare and well-being of Siberian Huskies and Siberian Husky Mixes.
