Hope for the Animals is a no-kill animal rescue organization. Our mission is to locate homes for unwanted dogs and cats, and to assist with emergency veterinary care. We are also planning to build Bucks County's first no-kill animal shelter.
Description:
Our current shelter location is at PetSmart in Fairless Hills, where a number of our cats temporarily reside before placed with new, loving owners. We attend local community events, produce a newsletter, and hold an annual Walk-A-Thon. Our newly create Four Paws Alert and Boris & Natasha's Fund provide assistance with emergency veterinary care
History:
Our organization is nearly 20 years old, and has adopted thousands of cats and dogs. We work cooperatively with a number of veterinary practice, including the Center for Animal Emergency and Referral (CARES) in Langhorne. We have grown to nearly 2500 donors, and a volunteer leadership of some 15-20 board members and coordinators.
