The Assisi House is the retirement convent of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia. We foster an environment that promotes spiritual, emotional and physical well being for our retired sisters.
Description:
The sisters who live at the Assisi House are missioned and continue their life long commitment to the church as well as the world community. This Community of Faith seeks to make God's presence visible through compassionate love and service in accord with Franciscan ideals. Our core values are relationship, collaboration and stewardship.
History:
In 2005 the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia celebrated 150 years of loving service to the greater Philadelphia community. Our sisters have served primarily in teaching and nursing. They built Our Lady of Angels Convent and Neumann College, located in Aston, PA.
