Ingleside Senior Services provides flexible programs to meet the needs of low to moderate-income seniors. Our program provides several levels of service to prepare senior citizens and their caregivers for the financial and health care challenges of the 21st Century.

Description:
Ingleside Senior Services(ISS) is a unique mobile information and referral program that links at-risk older adults with the services they need, but may not be aware of, or do not know how to access the services. ISS volunteers go into the community and meet with clients in their homes, assess their needs and access the appropriate service providers through a specially designed database, through the use of a laptop computer. ISS connects older adults to vital services, helps identify gaps in services, and works with other agencies to fill those gaps so that the needs of the elderly are met. Follow-up telephone calls and visits are made to ensure that clients received the services requested.

History:
Ingleside Senior Services, a program of Ingleside Homes, Inc., has been in service since 1995, and has won both Local and National Community Service Awards.
