OUR MISSION is to to provide career development skills and temporary housing for adults, at-risk children, youth for college access preparation, the disabled, and limited English proficient, with Mentoring support inclusive.

Description:
The ABCD FOUNDATION works closely with Continuing adults and also with children from k-12 in a supportive environment.
ABCD FOUNDATION is open Monday to Thursday, from 9am-9pm; Fridays: 3-6pm.
Our primary goal is that each program participant receives individualized remedial instruction and training.
Our Children's Center is completely computerized which approaches the various levels of each student holistically.
We provide PSAT, and SAT1 courses for teens from 10th to 12th grades afterschool. Evening courses for adults include: Adult Literacy, GED PREP, including English Second Language classes for learners who are limited in English proficiency, in Chinese, Vietnamese, Spanish, & Russian; Cable Installation, Child DayCare, with CPR & First Aid, Customer Service, Data Processing/Data Management, Cabinet Making, Computer Repair, Information Technology; and Financial Planning.
We will provide Internet access to students and families who do not have access at home.
All courses have tutoring and mentoring services with supplemental materials provided. Counselors and Security staff on site; these services are free to the public.
There is a minimal tuition fee for all of the courses of study.

History:
For seven years, ABCD INC.has been operating with the primary focus on ADULT EDUCATION & EMPLOYMENT SKILLS TRAINING.
In 2004, after assessing the needs of the community at-large, we now extend our services to children and youth. The ABCD FOUNDATION has been formed to address these needs.
