The mission of The Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is to prevent cruelty to animals and to alleviate suffering where it exists. This will be accomplished through: Humane Education Public Relations Law Enforcement Influencing Legislation The operation of clinics and shelters Facilitating and encouraging the adoption of unwanted animals Fostering and encouraging spaying and neutering

We are a non-profit organization that strictly relies on the publics' donations, as well as their assistance in helping injured stray animals. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home the animals that we save.
History:
Founded in 1867, the PSPCA was the first humane organization established in Pennsylvania. Today, over 96,000 members and donors support our mission. We are always looking for caring, dedicated individuals who will support the issues of animal welfare.
