Description:
Montgomery County Association for the Blind (MCAB) is a private, non-profit, charitable organization. MCAB is a regional provider of direct, comprehensive rehabilitative services for the visually impaired. Our programs are designed to enhance the quality of life and independence of people with visual impairments. MCAB services are available to individuals of any age who have low vision, are visually impaired or legally blind. Our services include Social Services, Orientation and Mobility Training, Home Rehabilitation, Computer Training, Individual,Couple and Family Therapy, Employment Program and many others.
History:
Founded in 1945, MCAB is supported by contributions from donors, private foundations and corporate grants, special events, bequests, and other gifts. MCAB is not part of county government.
