Daemion Counseling Center is a community-based, non-profit organization providing quality mental health services particularly to those with limited financial resources. No one who seeks help will be turned away without help.

Description:
Daemion Counseling Center is an independent agency that provides short and long-term counseling, community education, and subsequent support services to members of the tri-county area. Daemion serves members of every age group including the elderly. Daemion offers an anger management program, a parenting program, and a social skills building group for boys, ages 10 through 14. Daemion Counseling Center also offers educations programs to community organizations such as senior centers, schools, divorce groups, etc. We offer a sliding fee scale and do not accept insurance.

History:
Daemion Counseling Center(formerly Daemion House) is a grassroots, community-based counseling center operating continuously since 1970 to serve children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties.
The Center's success is largely due to a dedicated staff of volunteer workers who provide administrative and professional assistance. Our support staff is totally made up of volunteers. During 2006, volunteers contributed more than 1600 hours of work to the Center.
