Description:
The Hickman is a non-profit Assisted & Independent Home for the elderly. We house up to 72 residents. The Hickman occupies two buildings. We are situated on the Historic Quaker Block in West Chester.

History:
The Hickman, formerly Friends Boarding Home was founded in 1891 to provide a home "for older Friends and like minded people of modest means". It is now a licensed Personal Care Home guided by Quaker values.
