Description:
We build more than muscles. The Upper Main Line YMCA is open to all regardless of age, disability, religion, color, gender, or the ability to pay. The YMCA offers:child care and preschool programs to help children grow. Day and specialty camps help them explore the boundaries of their youth. Parent/child classes to build strong families. Swim lessons for all ages, masters swimming, and life guard training continuing our tradition of aquatics excellence. Youth sports, dance, arts and enrichment for sound bodies and minds. A teen center, senior center, trips and tours, free programs and special events for a strong community. We build strong kids, strong families, strong communities.
History:
The Upper Main Line YMCA was the first branch in our Association, founded in 1962 by a group of local citizens. Although it first met in a classroom of the T/E High School, the Y is now located on 54 acres, formerly Kelso, the estate of J.Gardner Cassatt in Berwyn, PA.
