Description:
BARC's Employment Services provides employment opportunities through two sheltered workshops. The JOBS programs provides support to individuals in community employment. Early Intervention Services operates two classroom settings in Croydon and Warminster, PA. Intervention services are also provided in home settings. Residential supports are provided through group homes in central and upper Bucks County. The Supported Living provides a maximum of 30 hours of support each week to individuals living in their own apartment.

History:
1950's parents of children with developmental disabilities establish the organization. 1960's BARC incorporates and opens vocational rehabilitation workshop. 1970's Early Intervention Program supports children from birth to minimum school age. 1980's Early Intervention develops homebased services option. 1990's Early Intervention expands into Berks County. Early Intervention collaborates with Head Start in integrating pre-school programs.
