Network of Victim Assistance supports, counsels and empowers victims of sexual assault and other serious crimes; and works to eliminate violence in Bucks County through advocacy, community education and prevention programs.
Description:
Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA) provides a 24 hour hotline for immediate support and accompaniment to emergency rooms and police interviews; preparation for and accompaniment to all court proceedings; short term individual and group counseling for victims and family members; sexual harassment and violence prevention programs for the workplace sexual abuse awareness and personal safety programs for students from pre-school to college ages.
History:
Since 1974, Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA)has been serving survivors of crime and their families in Bucks County. Started initially as Women Organized Against Rape (WOAR), our services have expanded to help all victims of crime.
