History:
CARING, Inc., a non-profit corporation, was founded in 1977 by a group of volunteers. After visiting nursing homes, they saw the need for community based geriatric day care centers to allow seniors with chronic health problems to continue to live at home in the community while receiving the day care they needed. The first center, CARING Fellowship Center, continues to function in Linwood, NJ. The other two centers (medical care centers) are located in Atlantic City and Pleasantville.
