Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of individuals with special needs or behavioral challenges by providing them with affordable therapeutic riding and other professional horse assisted activities of the highest possible quality, in a warm, safe and familiar environment.
Description:
Hope Springs Equestrian Therapy, Inc. was founded in 1997 and offers therapeutic equine related programs that produce tangible physical, psychological, cognitive, social, and education benefits. From autism to cerebral palsy to learning disorders, therapeutic riding has enabled individuals to experience more out of life than was ever thought possible. It has grown from a single program with one instructor, to a full-fledged, community organization with five riding instructors, a committed board of directors, various standing committees and a growing volunteer base of supporters.
