RSVP MISSION
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) provides opportunities for older adults age 55 and over to engage in service that addresses educational, public safety, environmental, health/nutrition, economic development and other human needs to achieve direct and demonstrable results.
Description:
Bucks County RSVP has been in existence since 1974. RSVP is part of the National Senior Services Corps, administered by the Corporation for National and Community Service. RSVP is sponsored by the Bucks County Area Agency on Aging and the Bucks County Commissioners. RSVP provides opportunities for anyone over the age of 55 to engage in service whereby one can contribute his/her time, experiences, knowledge and interests to others in the community. Our agency has over 700 volunteers donating over 116,000 hours in 125 non-profit agencies.
