Amazing Grace Outreach & U.S. Food Rescue is seeking to help your communities by providing food, clothing and other goods along with spiritual help to individuals on low, fixed incomes. The focus of our ministry is single mothers, senior adults, the homeless, shut-in, medically disabled, widowed, and unemployed persons. There is no charge. This ministry is done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Description:
We run a prepared and perishable food rescue program, with emphasis on fresh produce and healthier meals. We have developed a unique program of Distribution Hub sites by demographically identifying poverty-stricken areas and utilizing the local communities existing non-profit organizations such as youth groups, synagogues and churches. Through these organizations and their already existing volunteers we are able to distribute and reach entire communities and provide a connection point for further assistance through the organizations.

History:
Founded in 1997 we have grown into an effective and viable asset in the fight against hunger and poverty in the 5 state area. As the name so reflects, education is a crucial aspect of our organization and every program that has been developed is based on the principle that it can be taught to someone else.
