The Hospice Program of North Penn Visiting Nurse Association has as it purpose: to provide skilled nursing care, psychosocial support,spiritual and bereavement counseling to all persons with a life-limiting diagnosis and a six-month or less prognosis who want to die at home. Volunteers play an integral role by providing respite to family caregivers in the home. The volunteer role may involve simply sitting with a patient, reading and/or talking with a patient.

Hospice of North Penn Visiting Nurse Association has been serving the community for 15+ years. Our hospice is a non-profit hospice. We are able to provide the best possible care through donations and through fund-raising. Hospice of North Penn Visiting Nurse Association meets the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations standards of excellence.
History:
North Penn Visiting Nurse Association has served the North Penn community and surrounding areas since 1919. In addition to hospice services, the agency also provides home care, adult day services, Meals on Wheels, caregiver support groups, and other community education programs.
