We provide a host of services to assist those in need within our community. Our motto is "our motto is that the poor should never be treated poorly".
Description:
We provide food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, transitional housing, day care, a job placement center assisting those formerly on welfare, a home for those living with AIDS, a home for juvenile offenders, a dental office, a medical van, and other programs aimed at helping those in need.
History:
Our agency was founded by our Executive Director, Brother Ronald Giannone, OFM Cap., 30 years ago. It was begun as a shelter for single homeless women; two years later, our first Emmanuel Dining Room was opened. In the years since, we have continued to obtain funding to open and sustain additional programs as needs arose within our community.
