The mission of Riverview Adult Day Health Services is to provide a warm,loving,homelike atmosphere for frail elderly or cognitively impaired individuals in the community by caring professionals who assist them with healthcare needs,socialization, and mental stimulation. We provide daytime caregiving with dignity and respect allowing participants to remain in their own homes, as they desire.

Description:
Riverview Adult Day Health Services provides a wide range of activities to assist with both physical and mental stimulation of our participants, under the direction of a full time activity director. Every day provides variety for those in attendance. We are able to meet many healthcare needs through the assistance of a full time nurse. Hot,nutritious meals are served in a pleasant, family style dining area. Our hours allow care givers who work or need respite to take time away from care giving, knowing their loved one is having a day tailored specifically to their needs.

History:
Riverview Adult Day Health Services opened June 6, 2005. We are licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging after annual, onsite inspection. The center is a part of Parkhouse (the former Montgomery County Geriatric and Rehabilitation Center),which has served the aging of Montgomery and surrounding counties for over fifty years.
