If you would like to get involved in planning Galas throughout the Southeast Region of the American Cancer Society, we would welcome your involvement. Our Gala events are primarily held in the center city with a few in communities in Chester County.

Your volunteer involvement would include:
Attend monthly committee meetings
Attend the gala
Spread the word and encourage friends to attend the gala
Acquire an auction item valued over $250
Serve on at least one of the three major sub-committees:
Sponsorship: (members solicit organizations and individuals for monetary contributions)
Auction: (members identify and procure items to auction at event) Program Book:(members acquire advertisements for program book from organizations and individuals).

The time commitment is approximately 5 hours/month. Planning meetings will most likely meet in the evenings or over lunch. Our events typically occur on weekend evening.
