Exciting and rewarding volunteer opportunties are available at Independence National Historical Park. The park has many opportunities available in areas unique to a national historical park, such as Library/Archives, Historic Preservation, and Museum Operations. For those who prefer to work outdoors, we also have volunteer opportunities available with our Maintenance Division (gardening/grounds clean-up) for the experienced gardener and the not so experienced gardener.

A special archeology project is ongoing at the park's Living History Center (Third Street between Walnut and Chestnut Streets) and we are always looking for experienced volunteers from the field of archeology.
