Volunteers are absolutely essential to our program. As a Leader or Sideaide, you will be a valuable member of our team, working directly with our clients under the supervision of our instructors and physical therapists. Without you, we cannot safely provide services to our clients. Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. Before Volunteering you will attend a orientation that will demonstrate and explain what Special Equestrians needs from you as a volunteer. No experience is necessary. In fact, some of our best volunteers had never worked with a horse before coming to Special Equestrians! This opportunity is sponsored by: Special Equestrians, Inc.
We need volunteers who are free at these times

I must say I like being at SE so much. It is a lot of fun. Even if you don't have horse experience they will teach you. The Staff is friendly. The students are great, and the horses are special. I have been volunteering for almost three years and I love every moment I am at the barn! On my days off from school I go in and I plan to when I come home from breaks at college come back and volunteer. I will miss it there so much!! posted on April 19, 2005 |
